For workspaces that utilize the Utilization Tracking feature in Ruddr, the Utilization report section is available and provides insight into utilization metrics that are being logged in the workspace. There are four utilization metrics tracked in Ruddr:
- Billable Utilization
- Client Utilization
- Productive Utilization
- Total Utilization
You can access the Utilization reports section of Ruddr by clicking the Reports item in the main nav bar (Figure 1) on the left of the screen and then selecting the Utilization sub nav option.

Adjusting for Time Off
Each utilization report in Ruddr can be adjusted for time off, meaning that the capacity leveraged in utilization calculations is reduced by the number of Time Off hours taken during the period. To apply this adjustment, check the Adjust for Time Off checkbox (Figure 2) just above the report results on each utilization report.

Note that you can set a workspace setting to have utilization reports default to the Adjust for Time Off view. For more, please refer to the Utilization Settings section of General Workspace Settings.
The following reports present differing views of Utilization data in your workspace:
Utilization by Time Unit
A view of utilization in your workspace by time unit (Month, Week, Day), including a look at available capacity and total hours. In addition to providing this data in the report, the Utilization by Time Unit report has an accompanying line graph of the utilization trend over the period (Figure 2).

If your workspaces uses practices, this report provides insight into the utilization attributed to members belonging to a particular practice. Practices can be created / managed in the Custom Data section of Workspace Settings.
