For workspaces that utilize the Expense Tracking feature in Ruddr, the Expenses report section is available and provides insight into the expenses that are being logged in the workspace. You can access the Expenses reports section of Ruddr by clicking the Reports item in the main nav bar (Figure 1) on the left of the screen and then selecting the Expenses sub nav option.

The following reports present differing views of Expenses data in your workspace:
Expense Items
The most detailed source of Expenses data in Ruddr, the Expense Items report is a listing of individual expense items in Ruddr, including:
- Date
- Member
- Client and Project
- Expense Category
- Vendor
- Approval Status
- Reimbursable Status
- Amount
- Billable / Non-billable Expense
Note that there is a "client-friendly" PDF export format in addition to the CSV and Excel formats for the Expense Items report. The PDF will contain your company logo and a Expense Summary block in the report header.
In the Excel / CSV exports, a significant amount of additional data is available for the expense items.
Multicurrency and the Expense Detail Report
For workspaces that leverage Ruddr's Multicurrency feature, the Expense Detail report provides the user with the ability to select the currency (Figure 2) that will be displayed (in addition to the expense's currency) and also used for the CSV / Excel export. Note that the expense currency is set to the project's currency, but can also be viewed in the selected, alternate currency, if different.

The Expense Detail report export (Figure 3) will include columns for both the project's specified currency and the converted currency per the currency selector on the report. The example below shows CSV export columns for expense items on a project set for USD with the currency selector set to AUD. Both the USD and AUD values are shown in the report export.

Expense Summary by Client and Project
A summary of billable and non-billable expense totals grouped by client and project. Included in this report is a summary of the following:
- Client
- Project
- Project Type
- Billable Expense Total
- Non-billable Expense Total
- Total Expense
Note that totals are provided at both a client level and for individual projects within each client.
Expense Summary by Expense Category
Expense items in Ruddr are assigned an Expense Category. This report provides a summary of expenses by expense category, as such:
- Expense Category
- Billable Expense Total
- Non-billable Expense Total
- Total Expense
Expense Summary by Member
A summary of expense items by member. This includes:
- Member
- Billable Expense Total
- Non-billable Expense Total
- Total Expense
Expense Summary by Member Practice
Summary of expense items by member practice, including the following:
- Member Practice
- Billable Expense Total
- Non-billable Expense Total
- Total Expense
If your workspaces uses practices, this report provides insight into the expense items being entered by members belonging to a particular practice. Practices can be created / managed in the Custom Data section of Workspace Settings.
Expense Summary by Project
Summary of expense items by project, including the following:
- Project
- Billable Expense Total
- Non-billable Expense Total
- Total Expense
Expense Summary by Project Type
Project in Ruddr can be assigned a project type. Project types can be managed in the Custom Data section of Workspace Settings. This report provides a summary view of expense items for each project type in your workspace, including:
- Project Type
- Billable Expense Total
- Non-billable Expense Total
- Total Expense
